With this motor attachment, the Lilienthal 40 RC becomes a fully-fledged electric glider model. This means that the model can also be flown without a high-launch device.
The motor attachment was aerodynamically designed so that gliding in an updraft is possible without any problems. The cables are routed inside the motor attachment, so that no cables hang freely and are inserted cleanly into the fuselage of the model.
The kit consists of various wooden parts, a brushless motor and ESC specially made for this model and a folding propeller with spinner. A blade stop for the folding propeller is also included.
The motor attachment can be retrofitted for Lilienthal 40 RC models, which can be purchased separately. An additional advantage is that this motor attachment can also be universally attached to other model aircraft of this type and class.
A 2S Lipo with 500mAh (not included) is suitable as a drive battery. A JST BEC connector for the drive battery is already soldered to the ESC so that the entire drive unit can be used without any soldering work. All cable lengths are prefabricated to fit perfectly.
Please note that the image shows a blue EC2 connector but the kit comes now with a red JST BEC connector attached.
