Ideal for sailplanes weighing less than 500g in flying order. We have never seen anything lighter in bowden transmissions.
It consists of a very thin etched teflon tube, inside which we have a 0.35mm diameter piano wire.
The tube should be glued to the fuselage at 10cm intervals, cyanoacrylate can be used. The ends that connect with the control horns can be made with a piece of steel rod of the diameter we need, generally 0.8mm, bent in L and fixed to the 0.35mm transmission wire with a piece of 1mm heat shrink tubing and a drop of low viscosity cyanoacrylate. It is highly recommended to previously sand the rods with 500 or 800 grit sandpaper in the area where they are going to be glued.
