Thermo-adhesive polyester film, for model aircraft covering. Roll 200x64 cm, fuel resistant.
Working temperature 120-180°C.
KAVAN thermo adhesive film is made of a high-strength, yet very thin and light polyester polymer, coated with a layer of heat-sensitive adhesive. It is supplied in rolls with a width of 64 cm and a length of 2 m. The adhesive backing is protected by a transparent plastic film.
KAVAN film is resistant to model fuels: glow, diesel and petrol.
The film thickness is 50-60 µm (including adhesive) and has a weight of 63-65 g/m2.
The shrinkage capacity of the film is 5-10%, the same in all directions.
It is possible to use both hobby sealing irons and hot air guns, the working temperature range is approximately 95-180°C. The optimum temperature for adhesion is approx. 95-100°C, the temperature for shrinking approx. 130-140°C, for contouring curves 140-160°C is recommended.
